Optima FW contact lenses from Bausch and Lomb are 1-2 week disposable contact lenses made with an ultra-thin design and deposit resistant materials to keep your eyes free from irritation caused by the build up of proteins or calcium deposits. Disposable lenses are replaced on a regular basis to guarantee you comfortable, clean vision. Some patients are able to wear Optima FW disposable lenses continuously for one week, depending on advice from their eye care practitioner. As an added convenience, Optima FW contacts are manufactured with a visible tint to help you locate your lenses in the solution and with an inside-out indicator to ensure proper insertion.
The lens is made from the polymacon material, a hydrophilic polymer of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate, and is 38.6% water by weight when immersed in a sterile saline solution.
