Steven Newman OD CPT CAN
Steven M. Newman, O.D.,CPT,CAN combines his knowledge as a board certified optometric physician, certified personal trainer and certified nutritional advisor to educate his patients and the public on the importance of a healthy lifestyle. With more than twenty years in the health profession, Dr. Newman has advised and guided his patients with the information needed to make the right choice when it comes to health, medicine, nutrition and overall well being.

More recently, Dr. Newman began giving a series of lectures to doctors' organizations and the community at-large on the importance of lifestyle changes. His lectures continue to get rave reviews as he tends to speak with passion and never talks over the heads of his audience. Being able to have his audience take the knowledge home with them and apply what they have learned has always been his priority.

Dr. Newman has authored a diet and lifestyle book, Divorce Your Diet, soon to be published and is the co-producer and CEO of Visual Development, Inc. best known for the BabyEyes DVD series to help infants develop their vision early on in life, promoting intellectual development at an early age.

Dr. Newman, his wife Carolyn, and their two children live in South Florida.

The key to all nutraceuticals (vitamins, minerals and supplements) is not the amount that you take, but the amount that your body absorbs. Taking most nutraceuticals on an empty stomach limits the amount that your body can absorb.
