After developing and improving its own technology, Charmant moved into making frames for eyeglasses, with the first sales company and direct sales to major retail stores in Japan starting in 1975. In 1980 Charmant started exporting their products overseas, and today has a presence in 18 countries providing customers with licenses brands such as Hugo Boss, Elle and Esprit, along with the manufacturing and marketing of the Christian Roth Eyewear Collection.
