Gas permeable lenses are made to your prescription specifications, making them effective for patients who have special eye needs. Lens Material
The Boston Equalens II Rigid Gas Permeable Contact Lens material, oprifocon A, for daily wear or extended wear is composed of methyl-methacrylatefluoroitaconate-siloxanyl copolymer with or without an ultraviolet absorber (Uvinul D-49). The lenses are available in clear (untinted) or blue. The tinted lenses contain the color additive D & C Green No. 6.
