Proclear Toric lenses are part of the PC
Hydrogel family of contact lenses that offer excellent health and optimum comfort
for daily-wear patients. The lenses are made with CooperVision-patented PC
Technology, which keeps the lenses moist, healthy, and comfortable throughout
the day. Proclear Toric lens uses revolutionary PC Technology to create a
unique biocompatible lens material. This deposit resistant surface remains
clean and healthy through the day.
Lens Material
The lens material is 62% water and 38% omafilcon A, a
copolymer of 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate and 2-methacryloyloxyethyl
phosphorylcholine cross linked with ethyleneglycol dimethacrylate. The Proclear
lens with visibility tint is tinted blue using Reactive Blue Dye #4 to make the
lens more visible for tinting.
