Silhouette Sunglasses
Silhouette was founded in 1964 by Arnold and Anneliese Schmied and, today, is known as Silhouette International Schmied. Headquartered in Linz, Austria, Silhouette has thirteen distribution subsidiaries and sells its products in over ninety countries. The company is family owned and managed by Klaus Schmeid, Arnold Schmeid and Tassilo Gruber. More than 1700 people are employed by Silhouette, 900 of them at the Linz headquarters.
For over forty years, Silhouette has combined unique design, technological innovation, high-tech materials and top processing quality to give their customers fashionable innovations in a plethora of sunglass models.
Silhouette Sunglasses are designed to be light weight and hingeless to provide fashionable, timeless sunglasses in a variety of lens shapes using forward thinking technology. Silhouette Sunglasses are both elegant and classy. Silhouette also licenses the Daniel Swarovski Paris crystal eyewear and Adidas eyewear.
