Adidas Sunglasses
Adidas Sunglasses are manufactured specifically for the athlete, using materials with the strength and design that athletes require. Adidas Sunglasses are designed to make a difference on the tennis court, golf course and other sporting venues or for people looking for a sporty, casual look. Their sunglasses are made with flex temples and soft saddle bridges for a pressure-free, comfortable fit. Jeremy Wariner, Olympic gold medalist and spokesperson/model for Adidas is an avid sunglass collector who refuses to wear anything but Adidas.
Adidas is a world renowned German sports apparel company best known for their athletic shoes (second only to Nike.) The company was founded in the 1920's by Adolf Dossler. Jesse Owens and Muhammad Ali both broke records in their Adidas athletic shoes, and Adidas has been the official match ball supplier for every FIFA World Cup tournament since 1970. When West Germany won the World Cup in 1954 they wore Adidas shoes. They were the first shoes made with replacable studs, giving West Germany a distinct advantage over heavily favored Hungary and is a much repeated and loved story in Germany today. Silhouette was founded in 1964 by Arnold and Anneliese Schmied and, today, is known as Silhouette International Schmied. Headquartered in Linz, Austria, Silhouette has thirteen distribution subsidiaries and sells its products in over ninety countries. The company is family owned and managed by Klaus Schmeid, Arnold Schmeid and Tassilo Gruber. More than 1700 people are employed by Silhouette, 900 of them at the Linz headquarters.
