PureVision contact lenses are monthly disposable lenses designed by Bausch and Lomb to be discarded after a month of wear. Select patients will be able to wear PureVision disposable lenses continuously for up to a month, depending on advice from their eye care practitioner. PureVision lenses are made using an optical design to correct spherical abnormality to give you optimum vision. To assist you in locating your lenses in the solution, PureVision contacts are made with a light blue tint.
Lens Material
The lens material, balafilcon A, is a copolymer of a silicone vinyl carbamate, N-vinyl-pyrrolidone, a siloxane crosslinker and a vinyl alanine wetting monomer, and is 36% water by weight when immersed in a sterile borate buffered saline solution.
