Proclear Compatibles

Proclear Compatibles contact lenses are monthly disposable lenses designed by Biocompatibles to be worn as daily lenses for up to a month and discarded.  Patients are given superior comfort and water retention because of unique biocompatible materials that use phosphorylcholine technology to minimize the amount of dirt and deposits that build up on the lenses, keeping your eyes crisp and comfortable all day long.  As an added convenience, Proclear Compatibles disposable contacts are manufactured with a light blue tint to assist you in locating the lenses in the solution.

Lens Material
Proclear Compatibles are made of omafilcon A.  Omafilcon A is made of polymer of 2-hydroxy-ethylmethacrylate and 2-methacryloyloxyethyl phos-phorylcholine crosslinked with ethyleneglycol dimeth-acrylate. The lens material has a permanently fixed tint using color additive Reactive Blue 4.

Why was the visibility tint changed from the center of the contact to the entire contact? I've worn these for years with great success, but now my pupil has a blue ring around it and it's visible...what should I do?
