Focus Night and Day


CIBA Vision's Focus Night and Day contact lenses are designed to be worn for up to a month and discarded.  Manufactured as extended wear lenses, many patients are able to wear Focus Night and Day lenses continuously, during the day and night, for thirty days.  Focus Night & Day lenses allow up to six times the amount of oxygen than other soft contact lenses and because they are routinely replaced with fresh lenses you won't have to worry about deposits building up and irritating your eyes.


Lens Material
Focus Night & Day (lotrafilcon A) soft contact lenses are made from a lens material that is approximately 24% water and 76% lotrafilcon A, a fluoro-silicone containing hydrogel which is surface treated.

Water Content:24% by weight in normal saline
Oxygen Permeability:140 x 10-11 (cm2/sec) (ml O2 /ml x mm Hg), measured at 35 degrees C (intrinsic Dk- Coulometric method)
