Novelty Contacts
Novelty contact lenses allow you to change more than just the color of your eyes. These lenses are mainly used in theatrical productions or Halloween costumes or as a fashion accessory. Novelty contacts come in many shapes. They can give your eyes the appearance of cat eyes or have the logo of your favorite team on them. There are many lesser brands, but the two main brands of novelty contacts are WildEyes from CIBA Vision and Crazy Lenses from CooperVision. Although they may be a fashion accessory, novelty contact lenses still must be properly fitted by an eye care professional and properly cared for to prevent infection. A prescription is necessary to wear novelty contacts, which is United States Law.
